BasicBeauty is operated by Yaroslav Voloshyn. The app is free to download, with optional paid features available through the App Store.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is stored, used, and shared when you use the BasicBeauty app and website.
Information is processed to provide the features you use, manage purchases, understand app usage, and maintain and improve the service, as described below. This policy explains those activities and the controls available to you.

For a better experience and to personalize your skincare routine, the app may ask you to provide certain personal information—such as gender, skin type, age range, and current skin concerns. This information helps personalize the app. When analytics is enabled, some profile information is also processed by analytics providers to help us understand usage and improve the app.
Analytics is enabled by default and is handled by Firebase Analytics and Amplitude. Analytics events and properties may include app usage information, profile preferences, and information you enter while using the app. Photo image files are not included in these analytics events.
You can change the analytics preference in Plan > Settings > Privacy > Collect Analytics. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics apply this preference when the app starts, so fully close and reopen the app after changing it. Changing this preference does not delete information already collected or disable separate services used for purchases, notifications, or a requested weather forecast.
Where available, a vendor device identifier and an iCloud-derived app user identifier can be associated with analytics and purchase records, including when content sync is off. RevenueCat processes purchase information and app or device identifiers to manage and restore PRO access.
BasicBeauty does not sell your data to third parties, and the app does not use your data to train artificial intelligence models.
The app stores your photos, routines, product information, and skin journal entries on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, a copy is stored in your iCloud Private Database to sync across your devices. BasicBeauty does not operate its own backend for this content. The analytics described above can transmit selected details to analytics providers. Your device's own backup settings may also affect where copies of app data are stored.
The app only collects photos that you choose to capture or upload. These photos may include images of your face, but the app does not collect or generate biometric identifiers (such as faceprints), face geometry, or facial landmarks, and the app does not perform face detection or facial recognition. Photos are used solely to display your entries and track progress over time.
If you use the UV Index feature, the app requests location permission and uses your location to obtain a local forecast through Apple WeatherKit. You can manage location permission in your device settings. Apple notification services and Firebase Cloud Messaging may process notification registration tokens to support notification delivery.
The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app I collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
Cookies and similar technologies can store preferences or help recognize a browser between visits.
The BasicBeauty website loads Google Analytics when a page is visited to measure visits and link interactions. It may use cookies and related browser information. Your browser's privacy settings or blocking tools may limit this collection. The app's Collect Analytics setting does not control website analytics.

These providers process information for the purposes described above under their applicable terms and privacy policies. Providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. If you choose to join the affiliate program, the linked WinWinKit service processes the information you submit to it under its own privacy policy.
You can manage your routines, products, and journal entries in the app. Removing an item from view does not necessarily immediately erase all underlying records or backups. Turning off iCloud sync stops synchronization; it does not delete copies already stored in iCloud. You can manage the app's iCloud storage through your Apple Account settings.
I value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children. We encourage all children to never submit any Personal Information through the Mobile Application and Services. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide Personal Information through the Mobile Application and Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided Personal Information to us through the Mobile Application and Services, please contact us. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your Personal Information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the date below. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
